The track will need to be extended to reach the last twenty meters or so to the ruin. Access would be by 4wd. The village of Benfieta is around a 15-minute drive. There you will find a forest school, a small shop, a bar and a friendly diverse community of people from many different countries.

The 1.4ha plot has been topographically surveyed and that survey is registered with BUPI. The property would suit people looking to live off-grid, It is very peaceful with amazing scenery. There are many cork oaks on the land and it is very close to the Mata da Margaraça nature reserve. The land has been left fallow for many years, the soil is good at the bottom of the valley and has plenty of water from the stream.
